This is a fun chore list to use in a lesson about pioneers.
Fold the paper vertically and hand the paper to the children so that they don’t see the back half. They can fill out the blank side with all the chores they are normally asked to do. Then, you ask the kids to unfold the paper. They can compare/contrast their chores with pioneer children chores. So fun!
They can circle similar chores and you can discuss some of the chores that aren’t circled. Should make for a great discussion on pioneer life, being thankful for modern day conveniences, and the sacrifices that pioneers made early in the church.
If you would like to print out, you can download the chore list here.
